Jennifer Casetta’s Programs

Stilettos & Self Defense

This empowering program makes college women feel more strong, safe and confident from the street to the classroom and beyond. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn both mental and physical self-defense techniques that will help increase your confidence, avoid danger, protect yourself and feel like an overall badass. You will learn the weapons we’re always carrying on our bodies and how to use them to get out of dangerous situations unharmed. Students will
physically practice self-defense moves.
Stilettos & Self-Defense is a fun and memorable way to raise awareness about personal safety while learning critical and potentially life-saving tips along the way.
As a result of attending this program, participants will be able to…
> Describe ABC’s of mental self-defense: awareness, boundaries, and communication.
> Practice ways to embody powerful body language, tone, and vocabulary.
> Use their body as a powerful weapon.
*This workshop can be called Students & Self Defense for a more gender-inclusive event.

The Art of Badassery

Badassery is defined as, engaging in seemingly impossible activities and achieving success in a manner that renders all onlookers completely awestruck. With that description alone, who wouldn’t want to be a badass?
Jennifer Cassetta has put her badassery skills to the test. She survived being at ground zero on September 11th, she’s personally taken on an attacker, and through it all, somehow found her purpose.
In this motivational and empowering keynote, Jennifer demonstrates that life does not have to be defined by tragic moments, but instead, by the courage to keep moving forward. Jennifer will walk you through the Principles of Badassery to help you become the most badass version of yourself.
As a result of attending this program, participants will be able to…
> Demonstrate how to move past difficult life events with grace and ease.
> Recognize ways to connect more deeply with their life purpose.
> Apply communication skills to help them be a badass leader.

Hear Me Roar

Through this interactive keynote, Jennifer encourages students to tackle taboo subjects like date rape, domestic violence, stalking and sexual assault. Audience members learn how to increase their awareness, create personal boundaries and communicate powerfully. In addition, this program encourages bystander intervention and helps create the space for survivors to report, share and heal.
Hear Me Roar is a perfect fit for your Panhellenic community, first-year orientation or Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April).
As a result of attending this program, participants will be able to…
> Describe the ABC’s of mental self-defense: awareness, boundaries, and communication.
> Recognize the weapons we have on our bodies and how to use them.
> Demonstrate how we can all be better bystanders.
